The festival accepts new projects and series created between 2024 and 2026. Participation is free. All expenses related to participation are borne by the artist. Works are donated to the festival organizer and curator. Copyright for the works is not transferred from the creators. The collection and storage of personal data, as well as the use of a digital copy of the author's image and ownership of the original work transferred to the curator, are governed by the festival participation terms.
To participate, please:
1. Send an email to festival curator Oleg Arnautov at arni-art@yandex.ru. The project or series must be submitted as a PDF file with a description of the project or series and embedded photographs. The final pages of the document should include a photograph of the artist, a creative biography or CV, and contact information (email, phone number).
The email must include a link to a personal website and a social media account that reflects your creative life.
2. Call the curator by phone or on the MAX network if you have not received a response within two weeks.
3. If your work is accepted for inclusion, you must prepare the works for display at the festival, and in the volume (usually at least 2-3 works, or a group of 4-6 works), as determined by the curator. Attach a mat and frame, having agreed upon the design with the curator. The size of the work is also discussed and agreed upon with the curator. Send it to the festival venue via SDEK, Yandex GO, or other services at your own expense, having agreed upon the delivery with the curator. 4. Write an email from the address listed in your contact information confirming your authorship of the work, donating your original works, and granting permission to exhibit your works not only at the festival but also at other FotoTOP exhibitions and events, for publication in FotoTOP books and materials, and for online broadcasting. This email also acknowledges the curator's right, as the owner of your original work, to transfer or sell it for private or public ownership (domestic and international) or storage, notifying you of this fact by email. In the event of a sale, the author receives 5 percent of the contract price upon receipt of funds in the curator's account.
5. In some cases, not the entire set of works is donated to the curator, but only one or two works. The artist bears all shipping and transportation costs for the returned works.
